This week a curated list–all items in the style of early 20th century Dutch abstract painter Piet Mondrian. I’ve always loved his designs so they’ve caught my eye for quite a while. I noticed I had a number of them in one of my Pinterest boards so here are the ones I’ve liked best. His designs appear today in all sorts of color combinations, but I like the primary color designs the best.

I desperately want this Mondrian sushi plate!

I’ve posted this Mondrian vest before, but I’d really love to have one.

Amazing clutch evening bag.

What 70s kid didn’t love this bus? It could well be the origin of my Mondrian love.

Best. Olympics. Uniform. Ever.

The Mondrian pants that made curling rockin’ cool! Too bad the Dutch weren’t wearing them. Norway’s curling team gets the credit.

  1. I learned a little bit about art today. Although I recognized the design, I didn’t know the artist. And I am a seventies kid – I doubt my mom would have enjoyed driving that Partridge bus – too bad. Always looked like fun even though hanging out with the Brady Bunch would have been better!
