Rennie @ What’s Nonfiction is this week’s Nonfiction November host. For the final week, we are showcasing the newest nonfiction additions to our TBRs. I’ve done two “lists” (groups?)–books found via Nonfiction November this year and those found elsewhere.

I don’t even know where to start, so many of these look really interesting! I am especially drawn to Lady in waiting and The Other Side of the Coin. Singled Out and Yale Needs Women also look really interesting. My TBR is growing and growing!!

You can google Lady Glenconner and bring up the serialization of the Lady in Waiting book in the Daily Mail. Try Anne Glenconner or Anne Coke or similar.

In Plain Sight is such a good book, I found it fascinating. The subject matter means it’s not always an easy read but it’s well-researched and well-written.

I have wanted to read The Last Castle for a while. Hopefully soon … the one by the Queen’s dresser looks great also!

Oh I’ve heard really good things about Lady-in-Waiting!! The Elton John memoir is AMAZING. He’s very honest. I have a copy of Singled Out that I keep meaning to read…maybe next year! I’m glad you found so many good titles this year – I’m the worst for adding a whole bunch and then never reading them.

Yale Need Women and The Season are on my to-read list too! I love reading about women in history and something about the sort of society in which there are debutantes intrigues me as well 🙂
