746 Books is again hosting the 20 Books of Summer Challenge!
I’ve mentioned several times how much I’m enjoying book challenges this year!
Read 20 books between June 1 and September 1, 2020. You can also pick 15 or 10 books as your challenge if 20 is beyond the time you have to devote to reading. A lot of people are listing the exact 20 books. I’m only listing a few here–I’ll pick out the others as I go.
Currently, I have 3 in progress that I’m desperate to finish. If one drags on past June 1 I will count it. My challenge–my rules! lol
My List
1. Groves of Academe by Mary McCarthy (reading this for another challenge)
2. Age of Desire by Jennie Fields
3. Lions of Fifth Avenue by Fiona Davis
I read a mixture of fiction and nonfiction, contemporary, historical fiction, old and new so my list will likely be a varied one. If I am still working from home 20 may be a stretch. If I’m back to the office it will be easy–75 minutes each way lets me knock out about one audiobook per commuting week.
Other Possible Titles
Are you joining this challenge? Whether you are or not, what are some of the books you are hoping to read this year? Leave me a comment or a link to your post!
