This is such a fun meme! Thank you Jo at The Book Jotter for hosting!

Thanks to The Bookworm Chronicles for alerting me!

You can see all the rules and choices for this meme here.

This year was hard!! I have ‘only’ 41 books to work with–usually, I do this without repeating a title. Without my long commute and 2 hours of daily audiobook listening that it provides, I have only listened to a few books–the rest I have read. It affects lists making in a bad way!

Six books I started in the first six months of the year and was still caught up in July

Age of Desire

Makioka Sisters

Invisible Women

I am enjoying each of these. Invisible Women I’m reading for work with two colleagues. Makioka Sisters I am loving, but it isn’t on my Kindle and that’s what I’ve been reading! The same is true of Age of Desire–it’s a paperback. I forget about it.

Six From the Non-Fiction Shelf

Castle in Wartime

Pioneers

Syria’s Secret Library

Hidden Valley Road

The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris

Travel Light, Move Fast

Six books I have read on my Kindle

My reading on Kindle EXPLODED this year! Nearly everything I’ve read, and not listened to, was on my Kindle.

  1. Fun to look at all these pretty covers. I’m enjoying Hidden Valley Road now (if you can be said to be enjoying that book). Still bummed that the Queen’s Secret wasn’t better.
