This year was hard!! I have ‘only’ 41 books to work with–usually, I do this without repeating a title. Without my long commute and 2 hours of daily audiobook listening that it provides, I have only listened to a few books–the rest I have read. It affects lists making in a bad way!
Six books I started in the first six months of the year and was still caught up in July
I am enjoying each of these. Invisible Women I’m reading for work with two colleagues. Makioka Sisters I am loving, but it isn’t on my Kindle and that’s what I’ve been reading! The same is true of Age of Desire–it’s a paperback. I forget about it.
Six From the Non-Fiction Shelf
The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris
Six books I have read on my Kindle
My reading on Kindle EXPLODED this year! Nearly everything I’ve read, and not listened to, was on my Kindle.
The Likely Resolutions of Oliver Clock
Six books from authors I know will never let me down
Two Categories Combined to Equal Six Books
Six Three Cool Classics and
Miss Pettigrew Lives for the Day
Six Three books I abandoned
Six books I must mention that don’t fit nicely into any category
Dear Committee Member
Red Notebook
Derby Day
Sweet Bean Paste
Sacrament
Lady in Waiting
This post is somehow corrupted. I fixed it yesterday, but it is back. I can’t make these links look the same as the others, but I’m sure you really don’t mind!

Are you using the new block editor?
Great categories! It’s challenging to create 6 categories of 6 books this time of year!

No the old one. This is the only post with this problem. I need to get up to speed with the block thing. I hated it when I tried it, but that was because I’m so used to the old one.

For a work around, I’m copying old posts as a template! 🙌😂 Don’t know how long that will work!

I’m dedicating some time to learning it. No harm there! Just annoying.

Fun to look at all these pretty covers. I’m enjoying Hidden Valley Road now (if you can be said to be enjoying that book). Still bummed that the Queen’s Secret wasn’t better.

Did you try reading the Queen’s Secret? I’m really picky–you might not be as picky, lol. I
