It’s always hard to do “Best/Favorite Book of the Year” posts. I usually recommend one book as my “Must Read Book” of the new year for my readers. Here are some of the books I enjoyed in 2020. All are reviewed here. Please use the search box to find the reviews. I normally link, but I’m on vacation this week!

I’ve heard so many good things about Piranesi.

I think I’ve only read “Hidden Valley Road” of these, but so many look good. As usual for me, I’m most drawn to a lot of your non-fic. Here’s to happy reading in 2021!

I haven’t read any of these yet, but my husband enjoyed The Pioneers. Invisible Women is on my list to read, and so is The Midnight Library.

I haven’t read any of these – but I do have The Hidden Life of Trees in my TBRs, so I’m pleased to see it in your favourite books of the year.

I did not expect it to be so incredible! I picked it because I was thinking of giving it to my son and since it was translated from German it fit my reading challenge. I loved it!

Great list, Lisa. I have read a few of these and have a couple on my TBR. Clap When You Land made a lot of lists, so I will need to add that one. I will also be checking out some of the non-fiction titles.

Piranesi was so good. It’s been weeks since I finished it and I’m still thinking about certain sections of it.

Me, too! I think my “free association” in my reivew comparing it with a Christian praise song put people off. I really just write what I feel! lol
