What is Six in Six?
My 2021 Six in Six post. If you are unfamiliar with this half year book list, click the highlighted words and go to my post or go here, to the originator’s post at The Book Jotter.
My Goodreads TBR
On August 6, 2009 I added Henry James’ The Bostonians to my Goodreads TBR. In spite of constant weeding, the list is up to 2693 entries. I will, of course, never read them all. If it was easier to delete things from the list, it would be much smaller. I get tired of the slowness of the process and quit deleting. I cannot recall book titles when I need a book to read so this list is an amazing help. I also have a list on Amazon, though usually they overlap, there are occasionally books that only make it on to one list or the other.
While compiling my 2021 Six in Six post, it occurred to me that it would be fun to do this for my TBR as well (you are correct–I have no life). So, I consulted the 6 in 6 topics list, and gave thought to any I wanted to add, and here were are–a new Six in Six.
Six Authors New To Me
Six Nonfiction Relating to WWII
Six Biographies of Writers
Gene Stratton Porter wrote stories set in nature, but with strong characters.
Six Foodie Books
Six Nature-Related Books
This was tough–both Beatrix Potter and Anna Botsford Comstock were writers. Should they go in the writers biographies? Or here in nature?
Six Books About Librarians or Libraries
Have you done a Six in Six post? Leave me a link in the comments!
What a fun idea! And so many books on your TBR, it’s huge :D. I’ve just done a regular Six in Six (https://inanotherera.wordpress.com/2021/07/14/my-six-in-six-2021/)

I did the regular one too. I’m a librarian so “cataloging” books comes naturally 🙂
