Sign-ups have opened for the next Dewey’s 2h-Hour Readathon!
I always sign up for these events, look forward to them and then either forget or life gets in the way. I’d like to see if I can read for a good long while on Saturday the 23rd.
With November crammed full of reading events (more on those in later posts), I hope to get some reading started toward those events and maybe finish another fun read from Dean Street Press/Furrowed Middlebrown. I get absolutely nothing for mentioning them–I’ve just come to really enjoy the pleasant books they republish. I also have a few Netgalley books I’m behind on–so maybe one of those? Then there’s Autumn’s seasonal reading and one or two lagging on my shelves that I’ve been meaning to read. What do you think? Will I succeed in even picking up an actual book? Since the COVID lockdown print reading has not gone well for me.
Ohh… that Dean Street press book. I just LOVE them!

I know what you mean about life getting in the way when it comes to reading! I hope you are able to get the reading done that you want and then find time for even more! I take whatever novel I’m reading with me so when I find extra time, I can read another chapter!!
I’ve stopped requesting books from NetGalley because they would pester me about writing the reviews if a couple of weeks had gone by. I don’t know if they are still doing that but I got annoyed because I always write a review. Guess I was just too slow for them!

I keep saying I will do one of these readathons, so maybe it is good that I am behind on reading blog posts as it is the 21st. I will give this one a try and post my possible reads for Saturday. Thanks Lisa.
