Right? The sons of gentlemen at a public school dressed like urchins and playing in the street? Ridiculous. That whole series of covers angers me–so bad for his work.

Absolutely true. Makes me think the designer hadn’t read the book or was given a bad brief

Do they give them a brief? I often wonder today. The covers are always the same as some big bestseller it seems. I’m discovering more Indies, but like everyone I want to read so I do read a ton of mass-market. Thanks for reading my blog, by the way. It’s great to see some people show up regularly!
