2020 Year of the Asian Reading Challenge

Sign Up is Ongoing–use this link

Follow this challenge on Twitter: @YearOfTheAsian

This challenge aims to get folks reading works by Asian authors!  Books must be entirely read within 2020. If you started the book in 2019 and finished in 2020 it does not count. Try to read as many books by authors from Asia as you can. You can read here about how the challenge hosts will help out with selecting a few books and other fun things.

I was on the fence about doing this one, but I’ve enjoyed reading for the Japanese Literature Challenge and it overlaps with this one, so…..why not?

For your convenience, I have put a chart with all the countries of Asia at the bottom of this post. Many may not realize that Middle Eastern countries are “Asian” –this is a geographic term and those countries are located on the continent of Asia. Americans tend to think only of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, etc.

My Chosen Participation Level: badge_tarsier

Philippine tarsier: 1 to 10 books read
