  1. I have yet to read The Uncommon Reader even though I have had a copy for years. And it’s short, so you think I would have gotten to it by now! I do want to read it, and I’m sure I will enjoy it. Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress and Night are such good choices. I liked both books immensely. I haven’t yet read Daughter in Time of Things Fall Apart, but both are on my TBR pile. I’m not familiar with Texts from Jane Eyre–I will definitely have to look for that one. Thanks for sharing your list!
