My summer TBR is a work in progress. This year, like many years, setting a list of books I must read is too much like homework. And, with my new job and much, much tighter budget I’m totally at the mercy of the public library and deeply discounted kindle book sales to get my hands on books. I did one version of a summer TBR here in my 20 Books of Summer post (click the link to read it).
Here are a few more books I may read this summer–or may not!

The library is an essential resource for me, too! Do you know if your library has a requests form? Mine has one right online that makes things so much easier when I find a book they don’t have, but I want!

I hope you enjoy all of these.

I’m a librarian–it’s a great thing to support your public library (even tho I don’t work in one)

Where do you work now? I assumed you found another librarian position.

I’ve only spent 1 summer in a public library. I’ve worked in law firm libraries and college libraries. I’m at a community college now.

I tossed the audio–didn’t like the “voice.” I’ll try the print!

I was chatting to my husband just a few days ago about Saturday. Both of us used to love McEwan but neither of us were enamoured by this one (sorry)

That’s ok! We’ll see. I’ve only read Children’s Act by him.

Your list was, as always, very interesting. I still haven’t remembered to put my Google password in my phone so couldn’t comment.

Oh thank you. 🙂 I’ve been having a heck of a time lately with comments, both getting them (Blogger sending them to spam) and leaving them on some blogs as well.

Thank goodness for libraries! I get so many great books from there, even if I sometimes have to be VERY patient and wait in line. Ha ha. I hope you enjoy all these books.
Happy TTT!

I couldn’t figure out where to leave a comment but you’ve got some interesting middle grades there. The WWI book especially. Thanks

I get almost all of my audiobooks through the library, as well as many others. I am not familiar with most of the books on your list, Lisa, so will check them out on Goodreads. I hope you enjoy whatever you read over the summer months.

I have come to depend on my library also. It’s the only way I would ever get to read a newly-listed book. And yes, I have to be patient to get them. Otherwise, I rely on my TBR shelf.
